Anime Eyes

Yeah so I know that the last eye isn't anime, but the title would be too complicated if I wrote "Anime Eyes and One Pair of Semi-Realistic/Realistic Eyes"   Anyways, school finally finished so I thought I would scan something and color and shade it in on MS Paint, but my computer does not recognize the scanner feature of my HP Officejet 4500 but the printer works just fine and I've been searching for a way to fix it but so far all the results I've gotten have been very disappointing.
